Sophie popper (she/her/they) is an artist living and working in London. Her work draws inspiration from mundane and overlooked moments by using imagination to create humorous vignettes based on every day life.
She proposes impossible and humorous narratives, often working in collaboration to create her vision. Projects have taken the form of dance, audio, film, workshops, installation, and rhyming stories.
She is currently exploring her Dyspraxia, and themes of ‘clumsiness’ ‘doing things badly’ and general ‘lopsidedness’.
